Street ECS conductor system is designed to convey power by means of continuous copper ribbons inside an insulating housing profile. ECS is designed to supply power to cranes, hoists, monorails and other electrical machinery in three current capacities - 70, 100 and 140 amps.

The robust profile is supplied in 2m and 4m lengths and is simply joined by bolted PVC joint covers. The housing is supported at 2m centres and can be electrically fed at any point along its length. The copper conductors are supplied in separately wound coils and simply slide into the profile giving a continuous conductor, thus saving on carbon brush wear and voltage drop. For both dusty and outdoor applications a protective rubber sealing strip running along the systems longitudinal opening should be fitted.
