Introducing DYE's Automatic Bend Correction system - ABC [version2] .

The Automatic Bend Correction unit 'ABC' is a real-time, contact-less angle measurement system for DYE press brakes.

The ABC is a complete angle measurement solution built around an Intelligent Machine Vision System. The measurement principle is based on the smart detection of a laser pattern, which is projected on the metal sheet. The displacement of this pattern, during the bending process, is the basis of the angle calculation. The ABC system is a stand alone unit that is fully intergrated with the Cybelec DNC1200 controller. A laser source, an optical sensor and a microprocessor are all contained in a robust casing.

The measurement speed is approximately 100 measurements/second. Precision of 0.2¡ or better can be achieved.

The ABC unit delivers 'just what the operator needs': the precise bending angle with repeatability! This bending angle is communicated to the Cybelec DNC 1200 numerical controller which controls the press brake to the accuracy that you require.
